Security is a major (and unexpected) problem. There have been a large number of thefts and many of our more portable tools etc have disappeared. Thefts have been reported to the police but the problems continue. In an effort to reduce theft we have been forced to erect gates. The gates have been partially succesful in that they prevent vehicles from entering. We have also had to move on to the land, this is the only effective deterrent against poachers and other thieves.
