The Woodland is home to an incredibly-wide range of native wildlife, insects live in downed timber and provide food for birds (including owls) and larger animals. The woodland is also home to rabbits, foxes and badgers, all of which are able to find plenty of food. There are also Roe Deer on the woodland and surrounding area. There are also Pheasants (some of which are rare breeds) and French Partridges, presumably the survivors of shoots that were held there before we bought the land.
